I'm too used to seeing it work well in rugby and ice hockey (though both have enough of a grey area in the rules to make some decisions mystifying).
Is the problem that the rules are applied too black and white (ie, it's ruled a striker offside because his perfectly coiffed quiff was the wrong side of the centre back's bald nugget) or has there been too many where rules have been bent to suit an agenda?
