What satnavs systems are you using
When I first got my car it had live satnav and showed me live traffic and roadworks updates on screen, but that only lasted 12 months then I had to pay a subscription
I've finally got round to sorting out Android auto to connect when I get into my car via Bluetooth.
I can switch between Google maps and Waze easily using the cars media screen.
I find Google maps easier to look at as the maps are much cleaner but I definitely prefer Waze routing and live updates.
I wish Waze maps looked better

I used to use Waze but it kept sending me down narrower and narrower roads that got abit time consuming in the end with being in a van. I might go back to it but just use Apple Maps currently and find it fairly decent for updating traffic and giving good routes

I have to use Copilot gps (subscription based) for work but invariably switch it off and use Google instead because Copilot compares poorly to not actually having a map.

Wow I didn't know Copilot was still around, I used Copilot years ago when they teamed up with Nokia to offer Satnav options back before Google maps To be fair it wasn't great back then so can understand why you don't use it

Android Auto - I find that without paying for updates this is the best way.

That's what I've started using, mainly so I can see traffic, it works well especially on newer cars, when I had older car with it I had to plug cable in for it to work, newer cars it's all done wirelessly which is much better

I love Android Auto, can't wait to have a vehicle I can use it in.
Had an argument with my wife today about how useful Google maps is; she complained that it doesn't give enough information about which roundabout exit to take (and therefore which lane to enter the roundabout in). To which I responded that a quick glance at the physical sign on the approach to the roundabout would have given her all the information she needed..
Ha! If 007 modifications were a real thing, I'd have been ejected through the roof for daring to suggest such a basic aspect of driving
